SPP Weatherboards

SPP Weatherboards and components are produced from kiln dried New Zealand Radiata Pine and have been treated to H3.1 and have been manufactured in accordance with NZ3617 standard.

Pre-primed weatherboards and components have also been coated with a machine applied alkyd primer in a controlled factory environment.

Profile Choice:

Careful consideration during the design process should be given to the choice of profile, the size of the board and the subsequent surface coating in relation to the prevailing weather and exposure conditions at the site.

Grade Options:

SPP Weatherboards are primarily pre-primed finger-jointed Radiata in uniform lengths (normally 6.1m), but can also be adapted to other grades including clears, number two clears and dressing grade. Pine clears, number two clears, and dressing grade options are available in both dressed and band-sawn finishes, and are supplied in a random spread of lengths, either pre-primed or natural.
